Treating stains
Removing Chewing Gum
Hey, at least it's not in your sexy, golden locks. Scrape away as much as possible first. Rub the stain with ice to harden the gum and make removal easier.
Next, sponge with a small amount of dry cleaning solvent. Blot to prevent any damage to sizing, backings, or stuffing materials. Don't use lighter fluid if carbon tetrachloride.
Then, mix one teaspoon of a mild, neutral detergent (containing no alkalis or bleaches) with a warm cup of lukewarm water and blot.
